CRSI Scholarships
Undergraduate
The objective of this Undergraduate Scholarship Program is to foster the development of
practicing engineers and constructors in the field of site-cast reinforced concrete construction.
The scholarship program provides financial assistance to undergraduate students, namely, seniors
majoring in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering, seeking their Bachelor’s Degrees.

Graduate
Cameron Graduate Scholarships are intended to foster the development of practicing engineers in
the field of site-cast reinforced concrete structures. This scholarship program provides financial
assistance to incoming graduate students seeking their Master’s Degrees in Civil Engineering,
Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering. This scholarship program is named to
perpetuate the memory of Dugald J. (Duke) Cameron for his numerous contributions to the
advancement of the reinforced concrete industry.

SEAO Scholarship 2008
This merit-based and need-based scholarship has been established to recognize and financially assist students interested in structures. The qualified candidate is an established local resident pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in structures.
Application must be submitted to the Department by May 9, 2008.
APWA Scholarship 2008
Each year since 1982 the Oregon Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) has awarded a scholarship to a civil engineering, geomatics or geotechnical student at the Portland State University. The scholarships were established to recognize and financially assist students who are interested in pursuing a career in the broad field of Public Works.
Full-time civil engineering and geomatics students who have achieved junior standing at the beginning of the academic year of the award will be considered for the scholarship. Students who receive the award during their junior year will again be eligible for the award during their senior year, assuming they maintain eligibility for the scholarship. Course work must be taken at the school where the scholarship is awarded. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
Application must be submitted to the Department by May 9, 2008.
OCAPA Scholarship 2008
Oregon Concrete & Aggregate Producers Association (OCAPA) educational fund is sponsoring scholarships for deserving students pursuing a career related to the construction materials industry. Areas of study may include, but are not limited to, construction materials, engineering, geology, architecture, land use planning, biology, and fish & wildlife studies.
WHO MAY APPLY? Any to junior, senior, or fifth year students enrolled at an Oregon university or college encompassing disciplines related to the constructions materials industry may apply who will be enrolling full time in an academic institution for the
year beginning in September following the date of application. Students must be citizens of the United States. The academic institution may be either a four year college or a community college with a recognized related course of study. Scholarships will be applied toward full or part-time tuition costs for one calendar year, not exceed $3,000.
Application must be submitted to the Department by May 23, 2008.
