The Civil Engineering and the Environmental Engineering degree programs are reviewed and accredited by ABET.

Why choose an ABET-accredited program?

After the successful accreditation visit by ABET in the Fall of 2005, the Civil Engineering program was accredited for the maximum 6 year period until 2012. The new Environmental Engineering program will go through the accreditation cycle at that same time at which point, upon successful review, the program will be accredited to its beginning period.

The CEE Department is guided by a group of constituents who review our educational objectives and expected program outcomes. The educational objectives are those objectives we want our graduates to attain 3-5 years after graduation. Program outcomes are expected outcomes at graduation from our programs.
