Dr. Annear has been involved in water quality modeling studies of lake/reservoir/riverine/estuary systems in Oregon, Washington and Idaho such as the Bull Run, Columbia Slough, Cooper Creek Reservoir, Siletz Bay-Schooner Creek, Pend Oreille River, Spokane River, and the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. He is part of the Water Quality Research Group in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Research interests include: river and temperature modeling, riverine heat budgets, and turbidity modeling.
