Dr. Berger has been involved in the development of water quality models for Lake Whatcom, Washington; Tualatin River, Oregon; Columbia Slough, Oregon; Willamette River, Oregon; Pend Oreille River, Idaho;  Spokane River, Washington; and Wahiawa Reservoir, Hawaii. He is part of the Water Quality Research Group in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
